Product Overview
The Middle Atlantic FP1 is a 3-rack-space fan panel constructed from flanged aluminum, designed to mount one 4-1/2-inch fan for quiet active cooling in demanding environments. Available in a choice of black powder coat or black brushed and anodized finish, the FP1 provides flexibility to match either powder coat or anodized rack hardware aesthetics. The fan panel series covers configurations from one to three fans in three rack spaces.
Product Description
The FP1 fan panel from Middle Atlantic Products is a rack-mount active cooling panel that occupies 3 rack spaces and mounts one standard 4-1/2-inch fan. The flanged aluminum construction makes the FP1 compatible with anodized rack hardware in the Middle Atlantic lineup, and the panel is also available in black powder coat for installations that use steel powder coat rack components. Fan panels provide active forced-air cooling for rack enclosures that contain heat-generating equipment, moving warm air out of the rack rather than relying on convection alone. Middle Atlantic's fan panel family (FP1, FP2, FP3) covers single-fan through three-fan configurations in the same 3-rack-space panel footprint, allowing integrators to match airflow capacity to the thermal demands of each rack. The 4-1/2-inch fan size is the standard format accepted by this panel family. Fans are not included and must be ordered separately.
