The ERK-VT vented top from Middle Atlantic Products provides a slot-pattern vented top panel option for installers who need to maximize heat dissipation at the top of their rack enclosures. Hot air naturally rises and accumulates at the top of a rack; a vented top allows that heat to escape rather than recirculating within the enclosure. The ERK-VT is compatible with WMRK racks, ERK racks of 35 rack spaces and higher, all sizes of ERK-KD racks, and SCRK racks, covering a broad range of Middle Atlantic enclosed rack products. The slot pattern balances thermal performance with physical security compared to a fully open top. Steel construction with black finish matches the standard Middle Atlantic finish on these rack series.
