The Middle Atlantic ERK-RD Series solid rear door encloses the back of Middle Atlantic ERK Series equipment racks, concealing rear cabling and connections for a clean, finished installation. The solid rear door is offered in six heights, matching ERK racks from 18 RU through 44 RU. Select the model that corresponds to the rack space height of your ERK enclosure. Each door ships ready to install on the matching ERK Series rack frame.
Product Description
An open rack back exposes cabling, power connections, and equipment rear panels to dust and accidental contact. The ERK-RD Series solid rear door closes off the rear of an ERK Series AV rack, giving the enclosure a finished appearance while keeping the rear of the rack protected in equipment rooms, classrooms, and head-end closets. Because the door is solid rather than vented, it also helps direct airflow through the rack's intended ventilation path when used as part of a planned thermal layout.
The ERK-RD is a rack rear door accessory sized by rack units: the ERK-RD-18, ERK-RD-21, and ERK-RD-27 fit 18, 21, and 27 RU ERK racks, while the ERK-RD-35, ERK-RD-40, and ERK-RD-44 fit the taller 35, 40, and 44 RU frames.
