Steel construction with black finish matches the standard Middle Atlantic rack family aesthetics.
Product Description
The ERK-4FT fan top from Middle Atlantic Products is designed for installers who need active thermal management at the top of their ERK, WMRK, ERK-KD, or SCRK rack enclosures. The panel mounts three 4-1/2-inch fans, which draw heated air upward through the rack and exhaust it out the top, improving thermal performance compared to passive venting methods. The three-fan configuration provides distributed airflow across the top of the enclosure for even heat extraction. This top is compatible with WMRK racks, ERK racks of 35 rack spaces and higher, all heights of ERK-KD racks, and SCRK racks. Fans are not included and must be purchased separately; Middle Atlantic offers compatible 4-1/2-inch fans for use with this top. Steel construction with black finish matches the standard Middle Atlantic rack finish. Installers who require a single larger fan rather than three smaller fans should consider the ERK-10FT, which accepts one 10-inch fan.
