The Middle Atlantic ERK-10FT is a fan top panel for ERK, WMRK, ERK-KD, and SCRK series rack enclosures that mounts one 10-inch fan for active thermal management. The single large fan configuration provides high-volume airflow from a single opening, exhausting heated air from the top of the rack enclosure. Steel construction with black finish matches the standard Middle Atlantic rack family aesthetics.
Product Description
The ERK-10FT fan top from Middle Atlantic Products provides an active thermal management option for ERK, WMRK, ERK-KD, and SCRK rack enclosures using a single 10-inch fan. The 10-inch fan size allows high-volume airflow at lower rotational speeds compared to smaller fans, which can reduce fan noise while still moving a substantial volume of air through the rack. This top is compatible with WMRK racks, ERK racks of 35 rack spaces and higher, ERK-KD racks of 35 rack spaces and higher, and SCRK racks. Fans are not included and must be purchased separately; Middle Atlantic offers compatible 10-inch fans for use with this top. Steel construction with black finish matches the standard Middle Atlantic rack finish. Installers who prefer three smaller fans rather than a single large fan should consider the ERK-4FT, which accepts three 4-1/2-inch fans and fits the same rack families.
