Product Overview
The Middle Atlantic DWR-16-17 is a 16-space, 16-inch deep wall-mount equipment rack in black finish. Its ultra-shallow depth makes it the preferred choice for AV and IT installations where wall space is available but floor depth is constrained, such as classrooms, conference rooms, retail environments, and hallway telecom closets.
Product Description
The DWR-16-17 mounts directly to a structural wall surface and holds up to 16 rack units of AV processors, network switches, patch panels, amplifiers, and other 19-inch rack-mount equipment within a 16-inch depth envelope. The black finish blends with standard wall colors and equipment enclosures. A hinged or removable front door option (sold separately) provides security and access control where needed. The wall rack eliminates the floor footprint of a free-standing rack in space-constrained installations.

- What wall substrate is required for mounting?
- The DWR-16-17 must be mounted into structural wood studs or a concrete/masonry wall using appropriate hardware. Consult the Middle Atlantic installation guide and a licensed installer for load requirements.
- Can I mount equipment deeper than 16 inches?
- The internal usable depth is 16 inches. Equipment deeper than 16 inches will not fit within the enclosure and may prevent the door from closing.
