Middle Atlantic's DTRK Series desktop racks put rackmount equipment at desk height in studios, control rooms, editing suites, and offices, and the DTRK-W caster kit turns those racks into mobile equipment stands. The kit includes four commercial-grade casters along with the hardware needed to mount them to the bottom of a DTRK enclosure. Rated for 300 lb, the caster set supports the rack and a full complement of installed gear, so there is no need to unload equipment before moving it. Mobility is a practical advantage with desktop racks: rolling the unit away from a wall or desk opens up rear access for cabling and service, and a rack on wheels can be shared between edit bays or repositioned as room layouts change. Plan for the added elevation when specifying the installation, as the casters raise the overall height of the rack by 2-3/4 inches. The DTRK-W is a straightforward, purpose-matched accessory: one kit equips one DTRK Series rack, such as the DTRK-1018, DTRK-1218, DTRK-1418, or DTRK-1818.
