Product Description
The D2 rack drawer is part of Middle Atlantic's D Series, designed for integrators who need organized, accessible storage within an equipment rack. The fully enclosed top panel protects stored items from dust and incidental contact with other equipment above. Interior dimensions of 15-7/8" wide by 14-1/2" deep accommodate remote controls, patch cables, tools, spare hardware, and other installation accessories. The spring-loaded latch secures the drawer during normal operation and prevents it from sliding open during transport or in installations subject to vibration. Black anodized finish provides a durable, professional appearance that resists corrosion in equipment room environments. The included drawer mat protects stored items from sliding and scratching the drawer surface. The rear cable grommet allows power or data cables to be routed into the drawer without compromising the enclosure's cable management. The D2 occupies 2RU of rack space, making it a reasonable allocation for the utility it provides in AV control rooms, broadcast facilities, and server rooms where technicians regularly access tools and accessories.
