The Middle Atlantic CN1032-50 is a 50-piece pack of 10-32 threaded cage nuts designed for use in cage-nut style rackrails found in BGR Forward, WRK, MRK, and DRK rack enclosures. Cage nuts provide threaded mounting points in square-hole rackrails and are the standard fastening method for servers, networking equipment, and AV gear that uses the cage nut and rack screw system. This 50-piece pack is appropriate for stocking a toolkit or completing a single large rack build requiring numerous threaded positions.
Product Description
Cage-nut style rackrails use square holes that accept snap-in cage nuts, which are then used with standard 10-32 rack screws to mount equipment. This system is standard in server racks and is also used in several Middle Atlantic enclosure product lines. The CN1032-50 provides 50 pieces of 10-32 threaded cage nuts compatible with BGR Forward rackrail, WRK, MRK, and DRK series racks. These cage nuts can also be installed in select cable lacing strips including OP and OWP models to add threaded fastening points to cable management components. Cage nuts are consumable items in rack installations that are often misplaced or damaged during installation and service. Having a stock of the correct 10-32 specification on hand prevents delays during build-out or retrofit projects. The CN1032-50 is the appropriate choice when a larger quantity is needed; a 100-piece pack is also available in the Middle Atlantic lineup for larger projects.
