Product Overview
The Middle Atlantic CLH-5/8ROD-12-4 is a pack of four 5/8-inch threaded rods, each 12 inches long, for use in cable ladder suspension systems. Constructed from steel with a black zinc finish, these threaded rods connect cable ladder sections to ceiling anchors or other suspension hardware. Sold in packs of 4 pieces. Note: ceiling mount hardware is not included.
Product Description
Cable ladder systems require suspension hardware to hang them from the ceiling structure above. The CLH-5/8ROD-12-4 provides the vertical threaded rod component of that suspension assembly. At 12 inches long and 5/8-inch diameter, these rods are appropriate for installations with moderate ceiling clearance where a shorter rod keeps the ladder close to the ceiling. The black zinc finish provides corrosion resistance for above-ceiling environments. The rods are compatible with other CLH series hardware and most popular cable ladder brands, making them usable in mixed-brand installations. The pack of 4 pieces provides enough rods for two support points in a typical installation. For installations requiring longer drops, the CLH-5/8ROD-6 (6-foot version) is also available. Important: ceiling mount hardware (anchors, brackets) must be sourced separately and is not included.
