Overview
The Middle Atlantic CBS-5R is a floor-friendly skirted caster base designed for Slim-5 Series rack systems at 20-inch depth. Built to protect finished floors while enabling rack mobility, it is the preferred solution for corporate, hospitality, and residential AV installations where fine flooring is present. Description
The CBS-5R attaches to the bottom of compatible Slim-5 rack frames, adding mobility without altering the structural or visual profile of the rack system. The skirted design hides the caster hardware, giving the installation a clean, furniture-grade appearance. Four fine floor casters come pre-installed on the base, each constructed from synthetic rubber to distribute load and prevent marking or scratching of hardwood, tile, LVT, and other finished surfaces. The base supports up to 700 pounds of equipment load and adds 3-3/4 inches to the overall rack height. Robust steel construction with a black powder coat finish matches the Slim-5 rack aesthetic.
