The BGR-STP is available in multiple rack unit widths (3U, 4U, and 9U) to fit different top opening configurations in the BGR Series lineup.
Product Description
BGR Series rack enclosures from Middle Atlantic feature a top opening designed to accept fan assemblies, structured cabling, or other top-mount accessories. When these accessories are not installed, or when only partial coverage is needed, the BGR-STP solid top panel provides a clean closure for the exposed top opening area. The 21-inch width is sized to fit the BGR Series rack top opening precisely, eliminating gaps that would otherwise allow dust, debris, or uncontrolled airflow at the top of the enclosure. Top panels can be used individually to partially close the top opening alongside other top-mount accessories, or in combinations to fully cover the opening when no fans or structured cabling exits are needed. The solid construction blocks airflow through the top, which is appropriate in installations relying on side ventilation or where the enclosure is closed to the environment above. AV integrators specify the BGR-STP when completing BGR Series rack builds where top opening management is part of the thermal management or environmental protection strategy. The panel is available in 3U, 4U, and 9U widths, allowing integrators to select the appropriate size for their specific BGR enclosure top configuration.
