Product Description
Broadcast and critical-infrastructure facilities often have two competing requirements at the rack base: the rack must be anchored to withstand seismic events, yet electrically isolated from the building floor to control ground loops and stray current paths. The BGR-ISO-Z4 addresses both in a single kit for BGR Series racks. Insulating pads install between the rack base and the floor, while shoulder washers isolate the anchoring hardware itself, so the mechanical connection to the slab does not create an electrical one. The included anchoring bracket set provides the mounting points needed to support a seismic-certified installation, keeping the loaded rack secured in zones where code requires engineered anchorage. Maintaining floor isolation matters in facilities with single-point grounding schemes, where an unintended rack-to-slab bond can introduce hum, noise, or grounding faults into sensitive signal paths. Because the kit is engineered around the BGR rack base, installation integrates cleanly with the enclosure rather than relying on generic isolation materials.
