Product Description
When rack heat needs to be ducted out of the room rather than exhausted into it, Middle Atlantic's Duct Cool system carries hot air from the top of the enclosure into the building's air handling path. The BGR-DT9 is the top panel that makes a BGR Series rack Duct Cool ready: it replaces the standard top and provides the interface for the Duct Cool system, which is purchased separately. Compatibility covers BGR and BGR-SA standalone racks of 38 rackspaces or taller, the full-height enclosures most likely to carry the dense equipment loads that justify ducted exhaust. A practical service detail sets this top apart: it includes a removable two-space service plate, so the top can be taken off for service without disrupting the cable bundles that enter the rack through that section. That means a loaded, fully cabled rack can have its top serviced or its cooling reconfigured without re-pulling wire. Steel construction with a black finish matches BGR Series fit and finish.
