The Middle Atlantic BG17 is a 17-foot roll of brush gasket material for AXS System in-wall and millwork rack installations. The flexible black brush strips fill the gap between the rack and surrounding millwork, maintaining a finished appearance while accommodating cable routing in and out of the rack.
Product Description
The BG17 brush gasket fills gaps that appear where the rack meets custom millwork in in-wall AV installations. When an AXS Series rack is built into a custom cabinet or millwork enclosure, small gaps are typically present between the rack chassis and the surrounding wood or panel material. Without a gasket, these gaps allow dust, pests, and unwanted airflow to enter the rack cavity and are visually unacceptable in finished furniture installations. The BG17's flexible bristle strip compresses to accommodate cables passing through, making it ideal for locations where cable routing paths cross the gap between rack and millwork. The 17-foot roll provides enough material to seal the perimeter of most AXS rack installations. The roll format allows installers to cut precisely the lengths needed for each section. Compatible with AXS-xx-26, AXS-xx, AXS-SX-xx, AXS-SXR, SAX-xx, and SSAX-xx series racks, and requires a 19-5/8-inch rough-in width.
