The Middle Atlantic BB-44-1 is a 44-space solid copper bus bar measuring 1/8 inch thick by 1 inch wide by 77 inches high. It installs directly into a rack chassis to serve as a 10-32 threaded grounding and bonding conduit for large circuits in high-density AV and IT rack systems.
Description
The BB-44-1 uses solid copper — not plated steel or aluminum — for maximum electrical conductivity and long-term reliability in grounding and bonding applications. At 44U in height, it spans full-height standard racks and provides a continuous ground reference point accessible from any rack space. The 10-32 threaded construction allows standard rack hardware to attach grounding lugs, bonding conductors, and equipment ground wires directly to the bar. All required mounting hardware is included. The BB-44-1 addresses NEC and TIA grounding requirements for equipment racks in data centers, broadcast facilities, and critical AV installations.
