The Middle Atlantic AXS-GG is a gasket and guide kit designed for AXS in-wall slide-out rack installations in millwork, walls, and cabinetry. The guide hardware attaches to the rack top to keep the AXS frame centered as it slides in and out of the opening, while the included BG17 brush gasket strip closes the visible gap at the front rackrail. For AV integrators, it is a straightforward way to protect finished millwork and deliver a clean, trimmed-out result. Kits are available in 16-inch, 20-inch, and 26-inch sizes to match AXS rack depths.

Product Description

AXS slide-out racks are frequently installed inside custom millwork, credenzas, and finished wall openings where repeated service pulls can scuff or chip the surrounding woodwork. The AXS-GG gasket and guide kit addresses this directly. Guides mount to the top of the AXS rack frame and ensure smooth, controlled sliding of the rack into the millwork, wall, or cabinet opening. Because the frame remains centered in the opening on every pull, the surrounding millwork is protected from contact damage over the life of the installation.

The kit also includes the BG17 brush gasket strip for the front rackrail, which fills any gap between the rack and the wall or millwork opening for a finished appearance and improved dust control at the equipment face. The brush gasket retrofits to existing AXS installations, making the AXS-GG a practical upgrade for racks already deployed in residential AV, conference room, and commercial integration projects. Note that the guide kit requires a slightly larger rough opening than a standard AXS installation: plan for a 19-5/8 inch rough opening width.
