The Middle Atlantic AXS-FAN is a 115V slim rack fan designed to fit AXS Series slide-out racks. The 4-1/2 in. ball-bearing fan is only 1 in. deep and mounts flush in the AXS rack, delivering quiet cooling — rated at 33 dBA free-air — without sacrificing equipment space. It moves up to 57 CFM of air to lower ambient temperature inside the rack.
Product Description
AXS Series in-wall and slide-out racks put AV equipment inside cabinetry and wall cavities, where trapped heat shortens component life. The Middle Atlantic AXS-FAN adds active airflow to these tight installations, pulling heat away from amplifiers, receivers, and network gear so the system runs cooler and lasts longer. The fan's slim 1 in. depth and flush-mount design are purpose-built for the AXS rack frame, preserving usable rack depth for equipment and cabling. A smooth ball-bearing design keeps operation quiet at a 33 dBA free-air rating, so the fan stays unobtrusive in living spaces, offices, and conference rooms. The 4-1/2 in. fan runs on 115V power and moves up to 57 CFM. Installations with higher heat loads can add a second fan — two fans combined push up to 114 CFM — or step up to the AXS-FAN-K two-fan kit. A separate temperature display and LED accessory is available for monitoring rack conditions. For 220-240V international installations, choose the AXS-FAN-119 version instead.
