The Middle Atlantic AVIP-SF2 swing-out connector panel brings modular AV input plates to any standard 19-inch rack. Across its 2RU frame, the panel accepts 21 single-width plates, 7 dual plates, or 7 triple plates, giving integrators dense, flexible capacity for HDMI, audio, network, and control connections at the rack. Compatibility spans three major plate ecosystems: Wiremold AVIP, Extron MAAP, and FSR IPS device plates all mount directly, so the panel fits into existing plate standards rather than forcing a change of spec. Behind the plates, included strain relief and cable management are optimized for device plate wiring, keeping terminations supported and dressed instead of hanging loose in the rack. Service access is where the swing-out design earns its keep: the panel is hinged on one side, and captive 10-32 threaded thumbscrews open without tools, swinging the entire plate field outward to expose the rear terminations. That means moves, adds, and changes happen at the rack face without pulling equipment or working blind behind the rail.
