The APV-4 Slotted Access Panel from Middle Atlantic Products spans 4 rack spaces and provides a hinged vented steel panel that allows passive airflow through the slot openings while still controlling accidental contact with components behind the panel. Unlike the solid AP Series panels, the slotted design of the APV-4 is the correct choice when some degree of passive cooling is desired at the panel position. The hinged side-mount design allows the panel to swing open without removal from the rack, providing unobstructed access to the rear for maintenance, connector changes, or cable management adjustments. The 13-gauge steel construction is machinable in the field for custom cutouts and connector openings if needed. Captive 10-32 threaded thumbscrews allow tool-free opening and prevent fastener loss during service operations. The black powder coat finish provides durability and a consistent appearance within standard black rack environments.
