The APM-2 Hinged Access Mounting Panel from Middle Atlantic Products spans 2 rack spaces (2U) and is constructed from easily machinable aluminum for custom mounting flexibility. The universal mounting pattern accommodates most small rack-mounted devices including punch blocks, terminal strips, power supplies, and custom fabrications. The hinged side-mount design means the panel pivots open for rear access without requiring tools or removal from the rack frame, reducing service time during maintenance. Captive 10-32 threaded thumbscrews keep fasteners retained during service operations. The aluminum material makes field drilling straightforward, allowing the panel to be customized on site to match the exact requirements of the installation. The APM-2 is the 2-space version of the APM Series, which is also available in the 3-space APM-3 configuration.
