Product Description
The AP-6 Access Panel from Middle Atlantic Products spans 6 rack spaces and provides a hinged aluminum panel that swings open from one side for interior access without requiring the panel to be removed from the rack. This is particularly valuable in installations where AV equipment, patch panels, or custom connector panels are mounted behind the access panel surface and need to be reached for periodic maintenance or reconfiguration. The 13-gauge aluminum construction is lightweight yet rigid, and the material is easily machinable for field customization of cutouts, openings, and connector holes. The solid panel face controls air circulation patterns within the rack and prevents accidental contact with components mounted on the interior side.
