Product Description
The AP-4 access panel from Middle Atlantic Products is a 4-rack-space solid hinged panel designed for applications where access to the rack interior or rear of connector panels is regularly needed. The solid construction provides a clean face that blocks accidental contact and controls airflow through that section of the rack. Like the slotted APV variant, the AP-4 is hinged on one side and secured with captive 10-32 thumbscrews that require no tools to operate and cannot be dropped or lost during access. The 4-space height makes this panel suitable for covering larger openings in the rack face. The 13-gauge aluminum construction is notable for its machinability: integrators who need to add a custom connector pass-through, label window, or other opening can cut and file the aluminum material without the difficulty of working through heavier steel stock. Black powder coat finish provides a consistent appearance with the broader Middle Atlantic product family.
