The Middle Atlantic 5AR8 is an adjustable rear rack rail kit for 8U Slim 5 Series racks, providing 4 additional rack spaces of mid- and rear-hanging support. The adjustable split design supports equipment mounting at both mid-rack and rear positions within the 8U Slim 5 enclosure. All necessary brackets, rails, and hardware are included. Note that a cable chase kit is required when used with ganged rack configurations.
Product Description
The 5AR8 rear rack rail extends the mounting flexibility of 8U Slim 5 racks by providing 4 additional rack spaces of adjustable support at mid-rack and rear positions. This is useful when equipment in the 8U rack needs rear support or when integrators want to use mid-rail hanging positions for cable management or accessory mounting. The adjustable design lets the rail be positioned at different depths within the rack to match equipment requirements. The split design accommodates all Slim 5 side panel configurations without modification. All brackets, rails, and mounting hardware are included, making this a complete rear rail upgrade kit. For ganged rack configurations, a cable chase kit must also be used to maintain proper cable routing between bays.
