The 5AR43 adjustable rear rack rail is purpose-built for the 43-space Middle Atlantic Slim 5 rack family, including the 20-inch deep 5-43 and 26-inch deep 5-43-26 frames. Installing the kit provides 36RU of additional mounting at the rear of the enclosure, effectively doubling usable attachment points for power strips, patch panels, lacer bars, and rear-supported equipment. The adjustable, split rail design is the key detail: rails can be positioned for mid-hanging support of deep components or set at the rear for conventional rear-rail mounting. Because depth placement is adjustable, integrators can match the rail position to the chassis depth of amplifiers, DSPs, and network switches rather than improvising rear support brackets.
