Product Overview
The Middle Atlantic 23-19-4 is a 4-space (7-inch) space reducer that converts a 23-inch wide ZRK series rack to accept standard 19-inch wide rack-mount equipment. The insert slides into a 23-inch rack opening and creates a properly spaced 19-inch mounting surface, allowing AV integrators to use a wider enclosure while still mounting standard 19-inch equipment without adapters on each device.
Product Description
Some AV installations use 23-inch rack enclosures for their wider interior, which provides more space for cable management and airflow compared to standard 19-inch racks. However, nearly all rack-mount AV and IT equipment is designed for the 19-inch standard. The 23-19-4 solves this mismatch by providing a 4-space (4U, 7-inch tall) insert that fits into the 23-inch ZRK rack opening and presents two properly spaced 19-inch rackrails for mounting standard equipment. The steel construction ensures stability under load, and the insert fits the ZRK rack profile precisely. Multiple units can be used to cover more than 4 rack spaces. The 23-19 series is available in 2, 3, and 4-space versions, allowing flexible coverage of any rack height configuration.
