Product Description
Many AV and IT components come in half-rack or third-rack formats that are too narrow to mount directly in a standard 19-inch rack without a shelf. The UTR1 provides a full 1U mounting platform for these smaller devices, securing them with the included hook-and-loop fastener strips. The 16-gauge steel construction supports up to 25 lbs of equipment weight, making it suitable for DSP processors, small amplifiers, media players, and similar AV components. The 17.38 x 10-inch mounting surface provides sufficient depth for most compact devices. The ventilation pattern in the shelf surface promotes airflow to help prevent heat buildup under equipment.
