The 8 MIDAS mic preamps deliver the same transparent, low-noise gain structure found in Midas’ larger consoles, with a mic gain range of 10 to 60 dB and switchable +48V phantom power applied globally. The 3-band EQ on each mono channel provides shelving high at 12 kHz, shelving low at 80 Hz, and a sweepable mid band covering 150 Hz to 3.5 kHz with up to 15 dB of boost or cut per band — the same British EQ voicing that characterizes the DM16.

The two stereo line channels (9/10 and 11/12) accept balanced TRS inputs and include a stereo gain control and balance control on each pair, accommodating keyboards, stereo playback sources, or effects returns. Aux sends 1 and 2 are available on every channel with pre/post-fader switching, enabling two independent monitor or effects sends simultaneously.
