Product Overview
This Meyer Sound MM-4XP EN3 5-pin female to pigtail cable is the factory interconnect supplied for IntelligentDC loudspeakers fitted with an EN3 connector. It mates to the loudspeaker's SwitchCraft EN3 5-pin male input and breaks out to bare-wire pigtail conductors for splicing to a junction box near the loudspeaker. The pigtail end then receives a longer field cable run back to a Meyer Sound IntelligentDC power supply. This black-jacketed accessory is intended for use with MM-4XP and compatible EN3-equipped loudspeakers.
Product Description
The EN3 5-pin connection carries both 48 V DC power and balanced audio on a single cable: two pins for DC power and three pins for balanced audio (audio shield, audio negative, and audio positive). The pigtail end allows installers to terminate the conductors at a junction box, where a longer composite or separate power-and-audio cable from the MPS-482HP or MPS-488HP power supply is connected. This cable is required for IntelligentDC distribution to EN3-equipped loudspeakers such as the Meyer Sound MM-4XP.
