The HMS-12 pairs one 12-inch long-excursion cone driver with a 3-inch diaphragm compression driver in a premium multi-ply birch enclosure with a slightly textured black finish. An onboard two-channel amplifier integrates an active crossover, driver protection, and correction filters for flat phase and frequency response, while a constant-directivity horn maintains uniform 100-degree by 100-degree coverage. As an IntelligentDC loudspeaker, the HMS-12 receives 48 V DC power and balanced audio over a single composite Phoenix 5-pin connector from a Meyer Sound MPS external power supply, eliminating AC conduit to each cabinet. The acoustically transparent, detachable black cloth grille blends discreetly with theater decor. The HMS-12 offers higher output than the HMS-5 and HMS-10 while remaining IntelligentDC powered.
