The Meyer Sound Amie-Sub is a compact, self-powered studio and cinema subwoofer designed as the companion to the AMIE precision studio monitor, extending system response down to 22 Hz. This 3-Pin input version uses a looping XLR connector panel for straightforward integration into stereo and multichannel monitoring setups. A single 15-inch long-excursion driver in a bass-reflex cabinet delivers clean, punchy transients and excellent phase coherence with a 124.5 dB linear peak SPL. It is well suited to small- to medium-sized mixing and editing rooms.

Product Description

The Amie-Sub houses a single 15-inch low-distortion, long-excursion cone driver in an optimized bass-reflex cabinet, powered by a two-channel open-loop Class-D amplifier producing 1100 W peak. Onboard processing includes crossover, driver protection, and frequency and phase correction, while the Intelligent AC power supply provides automatic voltage selection, EMI filtering, soft turn-on, and surge suppression. Its slanted connector panel allows flush mounting against a wall, reducing installation depth to 19 inches including connectors. It pairs naturally with the AMIE precision studio monitor and also complements HMS surround and UltraSeries loudspeakers. Optional 2.1 (XLR) and 7.1 (DB-25) integration modules add bass management and a dedicated LFE input for complete bass-managed systems. Additional Meyer Sound studio and cinema products are available in the Meyer Sound collection. Side 3/8-inch-16 mounting points accept the optional MUB-Amie-Sub U-bracket for ceiling mounting.
