Martin MAC Aura XIP – IP54 LED Wash Moving Head
Product Overview
The Martin MAC Aura XIP is an IP54-rated LED wash moving head that brings smart outdoor protection, a pixelated RGBW beam, and a radical new Aura filament effect to touring and installation. A 7 x 60W RGBW beam delivers 6,000 lumens with individually controllable beam pixels, while 12 RGBW Aura filaments create a brighter, iconic backlight. With Art-Net, sACN, and Martin P3 video mapping over Ethernet, this IP-rated wash moving head integrates into advanced networked control and video systems.
Product Description
The MAC Aura XIP reinvents the Aura concept for outdoor-protected and pixel-driven production. Its IP54 rating provides smart outdoor protection without a separate dome, and a pixelated 7 x 60W RGBW beam produces 6,000 lumens with individually addressable beam pixels for dynamic effects. The standout feature is a radical Aura filament effect: 12 individually controllable 4W RGBW filaments deliver a brighter, iconic backlight that can be pixel-mapped. RGBW color mixing covers saturated colors, pastels, and white tones, with Aura color temperature variable from 2,000 K to 12,850 K and green-magenta tint control for precise matching. More than 200 built-in FX macros provide foreground color, background color, speed, and direction control to accelerate programming, while Martin P3 video mapping addresses both beam pixels and Aura filaments with variable crossfade between DMX and video. Connectivity is comprehensive, with Ethernet in and thru supporting Art-Net, sACN, and Martin P3, plus RDM over both DMX and Art-Net. A battery-powered base panel allows addressing and configuration without power, and the 8.95 kg head measures 338 x 380 x 226 mm for manageable rigging. The fixture is also offered in a Dual SiP flightcase configuration for touring crews who need protected transport.
