The Martin Exterior Linear Pro-Cove QUAD 4ft is a permanent outdoor architectural linear cove fixture engineered for indirect illumination of coves, soffits, underbridges, and architectural recesses. With a 100° wide beam angle and RGBW QUAD LEDs (8/ft), it delivers broad, uniform indirect wash for applications where wide-angle soft illumination is required. Rated IP66, IK08, and C5 marine corrosion resistance, it operates reliably from -30°C to +45°C and is backed by Martin's 5-year warranty. Product Description
The Exterior Linear Pro-Cove QUAD shares the same platform as the full Exterior Linear Pro family — compact 40mm wide housing, Full Gamut Color Calibration (1-step MacAdam ellipse), and selectable segment control (1, 4, or 8 segments per 4ft fixture). The dedicated CCT control channel provides tunable white from 1,800K to 12,000K for flexible warm/cool white programming alongside full RGBW color mixing. Three selectable power modes (12W, 10W, or 5W per foot) allow energy management across large cove installations.
The hybrid 8-pin power and data connector enables daisy-chaining of up to 42 fixtures (52m) at 230–277V from a single feed. DMX-512A and RDM control are standard; 20-scene stand-alone programming is available via Martin Companion software. Accessories include glare shields, flange brackets, adjustable brackets, and quick-mount brackets. The 100° beam angle is purpose-built for cove applications where indirect bounce lighting, soffit illumination, and recessed architectural detail are the design intent.

- The Cove QUAD uses a 100° beam angle for indirect, wide-spread illumination suited to coves, soffits, and recessed applications. The Graze QUAD uses a 15° narrow beam for direct grazing of textured surfaces and facades. Both share the same RGBW QUAD LED engine and platform.
- What is the IP rating?
- IP66 — fully protected against powerful water jets. Also rated IK08 (impact) and C5 corrosion resistance for marine/coastal permanent installations.
- Can this fixture be used in coves with limited depth?
- Yes. The 40mm width and compact 68mm height make this one of the lowest-profile commercial outdoor linear fixtures available, suitable for tight cove recesses and architectural extrusion mounting.
- What segment control modes are available?
- The 4ft fixture supports full-fixture, 4-segment (1ft each), or 8-segment (0.5ft each) addressing. DMX channel count is 3, 12, or 24 channels respectively.
- Does the fixture meet ASHRAE energy requirements?
- Yes, when set to the 5W/ft power mode. This is selectable via DMX and does not require hardware changes.
