The CDD6W's Coaxial Differential Dispersion technology projects proportionally more output toward the rear of the listening area to counteract SPL attenuation with distance, producing more even front-to-back coverage than speakers with fixed symmetric dispersion patterns. The CDD driver achieves point-source summation of the LF and HF sections at the crossover frequency, eliminating off-axis tonal variation in the crossover region. A static waveguide integrated within the driver assembly maintains the dispersion pattern through the high-frequency range — preventing the progressive HF beaming that narrows the effective coverage of standard coaxial designs as frequency rises. The curved UPM Formi composite enclosure supports both landscape (horizontal) and portrait (vertical) orientations, with the user-rotatable drive unit adjustable in the field after removing the screw-free perforated steel grille. Optional wall and ceiling brackets accommodate flexible surface-mount positioning.
