The MX56 pairs a Ferrofluid-cooled ceramic dome tweeter with a Kevlar/Nomex woofer and rubber surround, mounted in a surface-mount cabinet installed with Sonance's FastMount bracket system for tool-free positioning and angle adjustment without cabinet sagging. Its perforated aluminum grille uses a Grille Clip System designed to stay secure through extreme temperature swings, and the speaker carries an IP66 weather rating along with Mil-Spec 810 qualification for humidity, salt spray, temperature, and UV exposure. Sonance's Sinusoidal Textured Waveguide and VX Transducer Technology are built into the MX56 to maintain consistent tonality and wide dispersion in marine environments. The white finish is intended to match light-colored boat interiors, hardtops, or coastal architecture.
