The Sonance Mariner MX56 in black is a larger marine-grade outdoor speaker built for continuous exposure to sun, salt spray, and humidity. It is designed for integrators who need more output or extended high-frequency response than the MX52 for boats, docks, and coastal outdoor installations.
Product Description
The MX56 pairs a 0.75-inch Ferrofluid-cooled ceramic dome tweeter with a 5.25-inch Kevlar/Nomex woofer and rubber surround, tuned for an extended 60Hz–40kHz (±3dB) frequency response, 88dB sensitivity (2.83V/1m), and 8-ohm impedance. Power handling is rated at 5W minimum and 100W maximum RMS. The speaker surface-mounts using Sonance's FastMount bracket system for tool-free positioning and angle adjustment without cabinet sagging, and its perforated aluminum grille uses a Grille Clip System designed to stay secure through extreme temperature swings. Rated IP66 and qualified to Mil-Spec 810 for humidity, salt spray, temperature, and UV exposure, the MX56 shares the same 6.36-inch by 10.08-inch by 5.68-inch cabinet footprint as the MX52 while extending frequency response and power handling.
