The Marantz Professional PMD-750TA is a 2.4 GHz digital wireless plug-on transmitter designed to work with the PMD-750R dual-channel camera-mount receiver. It attaches directly to the XLR connector of any wired microphone — handheld, shotgun, or other XLR-equipped mic — converting it into a wireless source without a separate beltpack or cables. The PMD-750TA includes 48V phantom power, making it compatible with both dynamic and condenser microphones. For camera operators and ENG crews already running the PMD-750 system, this transmitter adds a second wireless channel to the same receiver already on camera.

Product Description

The PMD-750TA is a plug-on transmitter built for the PMD-750 wireless ecosystem. Where the PMD-750T beltpack transmitter is suited to lavalier microphones worn by a subject, the PMD-750TA is designed for operator-held or boom-mounted microphones: plug it directly onto the tail of a handheld dynamic mic for run-and-gun interviews, or onto a shotgun condenser for wireless boom operation. The 48V phantom power supply means no separate power source is required for condenser microphones.

The PMD-750TA pairs automatically with the PMD-750R receiver, operating in the license-free 2.4 GHz band at up to 100 feet / 30.5 m. Because the PMD-750R can pair with two transmitters simultaneously, the PMD-750TA can run alongside a PMD-750T beltpack — giving a single camera-mount receiver access to both a lavalier on a subject and a separately operated shotgun or handheld mic, without additional hardware. An adjustable headphone output on the PMD-750TA allows the operator to monitor audio directly from the transmitter, providing a local confidence check independent of the camera feed. The sunlight-readable OLED display shows operating status in real time for both indoor and outdoor use. Power is supplied by two standard AA batteries.
