What is the Magewell Pro Convert for NDI to AIO Module?
The Magewell Pro Convert for NDI to AIO Module is a hot-swappable Modator blade that decodes NDI and network video streams to simultaneous HDMI and 3G-SDI outputs at up to 1080p60. It decodes NDI High Bandwidth, NDI HX, HX2 and HX3 as well as SRT, RTSP, RTMP, HLS, HTTP and MPEG-TS. In a Modator 2U chassis it delivers up to ten dual-output decoders in two rack units, feeding both displays and SDI production equipment.
How does the Magewell Pro Convert for NDI to AIO Module work?
The module installs in a Modator 2U slot and draws power and cooling from the chassis. It discovers NDI sources across the network, decodes the selected stream with SpeedHQ, H.264 or H.265 video and AAC or MP3 audio, and drives HDMI and 3G-SDI outputs at the same time, so one source can feed a display and an SDI switcher or recorder together.
Each module has its own network connection and web interface, and is managed through the chassis touchscreen, Magewell Control Hub or HTTP APIs. Hot-swap design lets a single decoder be replaced without interrupting the others.
