What is the Logitech Rally system?
The Logitech Rally system (960-001397) is a modular 4K conference camera system for medium and large rooms, supplied with a white Rally Mic Pod. It includes the Rally Camera, one Rally Speaker, one Rally Mic Pod, a Rally Display Hub and a Rally Table Hub. Because each component is separate, the camera, speaker and microphones can be placed where they work best for the room rather than where a single bar allows. For larger rooms, the Logitech Rally Plus adds a second speaker and mic pod.
How does the Logitech Rally system work?
The Rally Camera is a 4K PTZ camera with 15x HD zoom (5x optical plus 3x digital), 180° of pan and 140° of tilt, for total room coverage of 262° wide by 192° tall. RightSight auto-frames participants at the start of a meeting and during it, and RightLight with wide dynamic range keeps faces natural under mixed lighting. In sleep mode the lens parks pointing down for privacy.
The Display Hub sits at the front of the room and connects the camera, speakers and displays. The Table Hub sits at the table and connects the mic pods and the room computer, and the two hubs link over one CAT6A cable up to 50 m. Rally connects by USB to a meeting-room PC, or runs in appliance mode with a Logitech RoomMate. Each mic pod adds coverage for about six more people, with up to seven pods per system. Additional white Rally Mic Pods or graphite Rally Mic Pods and a second Rally Speaker can be added as the room grows.
