Product Overview

Logitech Extend is a single-cable BYOD connection that lets a user run a meeting from their own laptop or mobile device in a room equipped with a Logitech conference camera. Using one USB-C cable to the table, Extend connects a personal device to the room's camera and display and supports the video platform of the user's choice. A two-box design with category cabling between them extends BYOD connectivity up to 100 meters to fit larger rooms, and the table-side box can deliver up to 100 watts of USB-C power. Extend works in BYOD mode with the Rally Bar family, MeetUp, MeetUp 2, and other Logitech conference cameras.

Product Description

Extend addresses two use cases with one solution: BYOD passthrough in Android-based rooms (such as Rally Bar family devices configured for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android, Zoom Rooms appliances, or Google Meet on Android), and BYOD extension in rooms running Logitech conference cameras in BYOD mode. In both cases, the meeting host plugs in a single USB-C cable and runs the meeting from their own device using their preferred video provider, with no additional drivers to install. The system uses a Display Side (RX) box near the screen and a Table Side (TX) box at the table, connected by standard category cabling that supports BYOD links up to 100 meters with Cat6a. The Table Side box can optionally deliver up to 100 watts of power to a laptop or mobile device when a USB-C power adapter is connected, and a magnetic dock keeps the USB-C cable tidy on the table. Extend is managed through Logitech Sync and can also receive updates through Rally Bar family CollabOS updates.
