Product Overview
The Listen Technologies ACLC12 is a 12-turn counter loop coil, providing the radiating element for a single-position counter or window hearing loop. The coil is what actually produces the magnetic field a hearing aid telecoil picks up, so it is the component that determines whether the installation works at the position it is meant to serve.
Product Description
A counter loop has two functional parts: the driver that produces the signal and the loop element that radiates it. Neither works without the other.
A 12-turn coil concentrates the field into the small area a service position requires, which is a different design problem from a room perimeter loop. Turns count matters: too few and the field is weak, too many and the impedance moves outside what the driver can work into.
Pair with a CLD1 driver supplied with a loop coil or order separately for a driver-only configuration. Verify the finished installation with a field strength meter — a counter loop is measured against IEC 60118-4 like any other.
