In Lightware TPS systems, HDBaseT or proprietary TPS signals travel over Cat5e/6 structured cabling to remote receivers. The TPS-PI-1P1 injects DC power into that same cable run, powering the remote device without a local power outlet at the endpoint. This is the single-port variant: one Cat input from the TPS transmitter or switcher, one Cat output toward the receiver, with inline power injection happening transparently.
The unit is standalone — it sits outside the rack on a desk or mounts near a cable tray junction — and requires only mains power at its location. Its compact form factor makes it practical for under-table or above-ceiling placement at cable termination points.
