The MX2M-AUX-8AUDIO installs into the MX2M-FR24R frame and adds eight independently configurable balanced analog audio ports via 5-pole Phoenix connectors. When configured as outputs, LPCM audio routed from the Audio Layer is converted to a balanced analog signal — enabling direct connection to professional audio amplifiers, DSP systems, or analog mixers without an external audio interface. When configured as inputs, analog signals are ingested into the Audio Layer and can be embedded into any video output or sent to other audio destinations within the matrix.
