Product Overview
The LightWare IR-TX-J100A is a 1-meter infrared emitter cable designed for use with LightWare AV products that include an IR output port. It allows IR control commands generated by LightWare extenders or controllers to be transmitted to a target device's IR sensor window. The 1-meter cable length suits most in-rack and behind-display installations where the emitter must reach a nearby device's IR eye. Available from Creation Networks.
Product Description
The IR-TX-J100A connects to the 3.5mm IR output jack on compatible LightWare extenders and terminates at an adhesive IR emitter head that sticks directly over the infrared window of the target device. This enables IR pass-through control of displays, Blu-ray players, or other IR-controlled equipment located at the far end of a video distribution or extension system. The 1-meter cable provides adequate reach for most rack and back-of-display placements without excess cable to manage. It is the factory-specified emitter cable for LightWare products with J100A-type IR ports.
