The Lightware IR Receiver for VINX-110-HDMI-DEC is the receiver end of the IR extension system for Lightware VINX-110 HDMI decoder units. It connects to the IR input port on the decoder and captures IR commands from a remote control at the display location, passing them back through the VINX AV-over-IP system to control source devices at the encoder end. It is the required receiver accessory for implementing IR pass-through control in VINX-based AV distribution systems.

Product Description

In a VINX AV-over-IP deployment, the IR Receiver at the decoder end captures remote control signals from a user and relays them through the network to the encoder, where an IR Transmitter re-emits the command to the source device in the equipment room. This unit plugs into the IR port on the VINX-110-HDMI-DEC decoder and is positioned with line-of-sight to the user's remote control. When paired with the IR Transmitter (13740012) at the VINX-120-HDMI-ENC encoder, it delivers complete bidirectional IR control over the AV-over-IP link.
