Deployed at the display end of an HDBaseT cable run, the HDMI-TPX-RX106 decodes the HDBaseT signal from the transmitter and presents a clean HDMI 2.0 output to the connected display or AV device. It simultaneously handles the return path: USB HID signals from a keyboard or mouse at the display location are sent back to the transmitter (and connected computer), RS-232 is passed bidirectionally for display control, and IR commands are forwarded in both directions. The receiver can be powered via Power over HDBaseT (PoH) from the HDMI-TPX-TX106 transmitter, eliminating the need for a local power supply at the display location — which is particularly valuable for ceiling-mounted or wall-mounted installations.
