The LightWare Generic SFP+ MM 10G Transceiver is a commercial-grade 10 Gigabit SFP+ module for multimode fiber connections in LightWare matrix switchers and signal distribution systems. It operates at 850nm wavelength and supports link distances up to 300 meters over OM3 multimode fiber, making it ideal for intra-building fiber runs in AV infrastructure. The hot-pluggable module installs directly into compatible LightWare SFP+ cages without requiring system shutdown. It offers a cost-effective fiber connectivity option where long-distance singlemode links are unnecessary.
Product Description
This SFP+ multimode module is the standard choice for LightWare installations where fiber runs are contained within a single building or campus segment. 850nm VCSEL optics and OM3/OM4 multimode fiber deliver reliable 10Gbps transport at distances up to 300 meters.
