Product Overview
The LightWare Carlon US Wall Box is a Carlon 225R two-gang plastic wall box designed for in-wall installation of the LightWare WP-UMX-TPS wall plate. It provides the correct US-standard rough-in enclosure so the WP-UMX-TPS mounts flush and securely in standard drywall applications. Specifying the correct wall box at the time of rough-in prevents costly retrofits later. Available from Creation Networks.
Product Description
The Carlon 225R is a two-gang plastic electrical box sized and configured to accept the LightWare WP-UMX-TPS multimedia wall plate in US standard construction. The plastic construction is non-conductive and suitable for low-voltage AV installations where metal boxes could cause interference or grounding issues. Installers rough-in this box during initial construction or renovation, then mount the WP-UMX-TPS directly to it for a finished, professional result. Using the factory-recommended enclosure ensures proper alignment of the wall plate cutout and mounting screw positions.
