The DL-AR2804 is Liberty AV's Adapter Ring 2.0, covered by US Patent No. 9,784,338, and designed specifically to address the lost-adapter problem in BYOD conference room deployments. In a typical meeting room, loose display adapters are frequently misplaced, leaving presenters unable to connect their laptops. The Adapter Ring solves this by securing adapters directly to the room's permanent HDMI cable using a robust aluminum clamp and security cable, so adapters are always where they need to be.

The DL-AR2804 includes one full-size DisplayPort Male to HDMI Female adapter (ARDPHD) and one Mini-DisplayPort Male to HDMI Female adapter (ARMDPHD), covering the most common non-HDMI laptop video outputs found in commercial environments alongside the room's native HDMI connection. Two security clamps (DL-AP2) are included for attaching Apple or third-party cable adapters that users supply, and one adapter line clamp and security cable (DL-CL2) completes the assembly hardware.
