Product Description

The KT-163GP-HB is LG's 163-inch expansion installation kit for the LAPA series all-in-one DVLED display platform. The LAPA series uses a modular all-in-one cabinet design where expansion kits are required to build display configurations larger than the base cabinet footprint. The 163-inch configuration represents a larger-format LAPA deployment compared to the 136-inch configuration supported by the KT-136GP-HB, and these two kits are not interchangeable — each is specific to its target display size. LG engineers its expansion kits to maintain the precise mechanical tolerances required for seamless cabinet-to-cabinet alignment in large-format DVLED displays, where any misalignment is visible in the displayed image. Specifying the correct expansion kit during initial system procurement ensures that installation can proceed without delays or component mismatches. For LAPA installations targeting the 136-inch size, the KT-136GP-HB is the appropriate selection. Creation Networks provides pre-sale consultation to confirm the correct kit and cabinet combination for your LAPA system design, and can assist with complete system procurement including displays, expansion kits, and mounting hardware. Frequently Asked Questions

What LAPA models is the KT-163GP-HB compatible with?

Specific LAPA model compatibility for the 163-inch kit should be confirmed with Creation Networks or LG prior to purchase. Contact us at creationnetworks.net to verify this kit is correct for your LAPA display generation and planned configuration.

What is the difference between the KT-163GP-HB and KT-136GP-HB?

The KT-163GP-HB is for the 163-inch LAPA configuration, while the KT-136GP-HB is for the 136-inch LAPA configuration. These are different-sized kits and are not interchangeable. Always confirm the target display size before selecting the appropriate expansion kit.

Can I upgrade a 136-inch LAPA installation to 163 inches later?

Upgrading a completed LAPA installation to a larger configuration may be possible depending on the display model and available expansion options. Contact Creation Networks to discuss upgrade paths for existing LAPA installations before purchasing additional expansion kits.

Does this kit need to be ordered with the display?

Yes. Expansion kits should be ordered concurrently with the LAPA display to ensure all components arrive together and installation can proceed on schedule. Procuring kits after the display arrives typically causes project delays.
